When I go to university I want to improve is some of my skills. Such as my editing with sound, because I feel that this vital to being successful in the live and technical events course. Along with this I feel that as I said in P2 my directing skills are not up to scratch. Although this does not relate with the course I am going to take, I feel that it will help me with leading a team and improve my team work skills.

One of my biggest weakness is the fact I get very easily distracted, when working. I feel that this will be a massive issue during my time at university, but also when I start working. The way I will improve this by focusing fully on my work and don't let other around me distract me. This will allow me to improve my work ethic and will give me a better chance to getting into the field of work I want to go into.

I need to gain more experience with sound deck in order to get into this field of work. I will do this by spending time with the deck that are made available at university. This will help me feel more comfortable with the software and equipment I need to using in order to get a job.

For me get a job as lighting technician, I need to learn how lighting works, in live show. I will be able to this by gaining knowledge from people within the field of work, along with using the equipment available to me at university.   

In order to gain a job as music manager I will have to understand how the music business works, this will be done through gain contacts at university from people in the business. Live and technical events course won't just help me with sound and lighting, it will also give me a understanding on how the music business works.

As I stated in P3 my income is very poor. I am planning on getting a job in order to increase my income. This won't just help me with my general life, it will also help me with me focusing on my university work this is because I won't be worrying about money and will be able to fully commit myself to the course.
